What a joy to see and hear the children swarming like so many busy ants on the swingset and the Jardin de Alegria (Garden of Joy). And coffee after Mass! A sheer delight to the soul, to have time to talk together in groups and friendships, without hurrying off to the cars.

Our Covid restrictions finally relaxed, we have been slower than our neighbors just seven miles to the north, in McAllen Texas, to have such moments of opportunity to meet together. Reynosa has had, like every spot on the globe, a mixture of scientific and political criterea for our guidelines. The skills of meeting online which we have learned the past two years will continue to serve us well when traveling or matching schedules makes meeting together prohibitive.
Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together . . . (Heb 1o:24-25)
We have begun a Sunday morning curriculum which is half as extensive as when we were running at full pace two years ago. But everyone agrees we are blessed to be in full communion of persons once again.
