We received such a generous response to the need for a tabernacle from dear friends. This tabernacle which easily provides either exposition or reservation of the Sacred Species has been installed in our newly renovated Chapel. The new tabernacle, donated by several generous friends and spiritual patrons, shown here in the manner of exposition, with the Eucharist visible.
As of now, the chapel is an unassigned room during our Sunday courses, so that it can be used by a class for meditation. Most of our classroom sessions are very practical, utilizing discussion groups or a question-and-answer format to reinforce understanding and response to the material freshly presented. A typical classroom session has discussion groups, a question and answer forum, or as shown here, couples considering how to implement the material they have received in a teaching they just received.
But sometimes a personal inventory– an examination of conscience or review of priorities– is more appropriate. This chapel has been used in these instances and the presence of the Lord is palpable and much appreciated. Many of our couples and youth do not live near to their parish and are just developing a hunger and desire to spend time in the Eucharistic presence of Christ.
