The unseen photographer (see her below - Melissa) was also a participant for the Holy Week Tradition.
This year we were able to gather only women and had to stay local in order to social distance for sleeping quarters. The mission was reduced to attending a chapel in Fr Tim’s parish. We made the best of that happy circumstance. As for the participants, we embraced a wider range of ages, including some of the younger women who have been guests of the Single Women’s household over the last six months and even some friends who have only been on the sidelines.
The young women who are former guests have grown in their desire to mature in the faith and in their friendships. These generated a marvelous tone which became a leaven for the whole lump.
The enthusiastic former guests (l to r), Belen, Valeria, Monse and Melissa.
Of course the Holy Spirit made use of the openness which was apparent and bonds were formed with the Risen Lord, Himself and with the other participants who all showed a generous openness. We are anxious to cultivate these fruits in the larger group of Solteros, especially now that the restrictions are, at this point, loosening up.
